A guitar case becomes a hat carrier. Is the message sent by owning the cowboy hat enhanced by the fact that it is being conveyed on the top of a guitar case? And that the guitar case is apparently this man’s sole piece of luggage? Why is the cowboy hat carried and the visor worn, instead of the other way around?
How would the message change if you found out that this man doesn’t in  fact play the guitar, and that there is a week’s worth of dirty  laundry inside the guitar case?

Besides being harder to balance a cowboy hat on top of, what if this  was an accordion case? What would be the accompanying changes in  apparel, comportment, etc.?
