Sidewalk structure norms

What would appear to be (primarily) a McDonalds advertisement also happens to be a phone booth near the main square in Valencia, Spain. Nearby, the green structure that would appear at first glance to be a British-style phone booth is actually a lottery ticket vendor. Our opinions about sidewalk-additions and standards for what should be sold on the street are formed by cultural ideas of what services, goods, and information must be made most convenient to access.
