The combination and diversity of this balloon vendor’s inventory hanging from his mobile bamboo stand made me wonder whether a) what (if any) criteria were used in selecting inventory, b) where some of the more unusual parts of the inventory were produced, and c) the inspiration behind their production. The menagerie includes:

– A spiderman(-based?) character, sporting the cryptic message “NEEDS MORE COLOR” across its chest.

– A rabbit seemingly clad in arctic camouflage.

– Bugs Bunny apparently dressed as Waldo from “Where’s Waldo”.

– A beachball seemingly designed to be used in an activity to encourage discussion and reflection about bible stories.

There are, of course, the usual suspects in the form of the inescapable Angry Birds and Power Rangers (and their doppelgangers).

Your guess is as good as mine. Predictability and coherence are highly overrated.
