Meant to hold fried snacks, a (half) fan cage is repurposed to nest within a wok, which is in turn positioned over a bucket-style coal stove. Apply heat to oil, fry snacks, and place into fan to drip/cool.

Best enjoyed scalding. China repurposes fans well, but Burma does it better, in my humble.
