Whether real or fabricated, some thought has gone into this — if true, why “two dogs” instead of just adding an ’s’ to a “Beware of Dog” sign (which one could likely have picked up from the same place as the “Security Cameras in Use” sign)?

Specific directions also for the mail delivery itself by bidding the deliverer “yell over”. Either meant to add credibility, or done out of interest for letters and packages’ safety, with the owner attempting to get to them before the dogs (whether real or imagined) do.
