The level of detail placed into the graphic of the squat toilet to show precisely how one should use it – why is this necessary? Does the western style toilet not require similar explanation? I’ve seen multiple signs instructing how not to use a western style toilet (i.e. by squatting on top of it).
For whom are the footprints on the squat toilet intended? An enterprising westerner? Or perhaps merely a desperate one, searching for signals/salvation upon realizing their preferred road to relief was not an option?
